This is a beautiful Chevrolet Concept car that was released by Corgi 40+ years ago in 1969!  It comes from a prominent collection of Corgi vehicles we recently acquired.

This is a unique piece in Corgi history; it is one of only a few manufacturer concept vehicles that Corgi produced. The Chevrolet Astro Corvair Corsa concept was designed by the legendary GM designer Larry Shinoda, who also designed the Mako Shark Corvette concept, and the iconic 63 Corvette Split Window Coupe. The Astro was first presented to the public at the 1967 NY Auto Show.

If you’re an avid collector of vintage Corgi vehicles, you know the Mint/Boxed price of these early models with the Red hubs is now well over $150. This is priced well below that to reflect some fading of the chrome hood, which plagues all Corgi models of this era. You simply will not find a nicer version of this car at this price.

The chrome paint shines beautifully, this will make a nice addition to any Corgi, Chevy, Concept, or Corvair collection. (1:43 Scale)
