This is an amazing find, and a piece of history! This a 1979 Cadillac Coupe De Ville Dealer Promotional Model. The car is Mint, the box is pretty worn. The accompanying receipt explains why the box is worn. This sat in the parts department of the infamous De Lorean Cadillac in Lakewood Ohio from 1977 until it was sold to a customer in 1992! This original dealer promo sat in the dealers parts cage for 15 Years!

De Lorean Cadillac is the infamous dealership that was owned and operated by John De Loreans family. His brother ran the dealership. It is infamous for a number of reasons. His brother controversially painted the last 6 DeLoreans in bright colors in an attempt to finally move them off his lot; it was a move that infuriated John De Lorean. This was also the dealership named in a lawsuit brought by De Loreans creditors because the dealership was allegedly holding valuable furnature that John De Lorean was attempting to hide from the courts.
