Summer Metal Products (Recall) Can Am Race Car

Released more than two decades ago in the early 1980’s, this is the hard to find Can Am Race Car.  

Collectors Note: The story on these cars is as follows. These cars were recalled, and are not easy to find on the collector market. The reason was the use of the John Player Special name, they did not have the license. Their solution, black out the name, it didn’t work and they were forced to recall the cars. This is one that made it to the market. It’s still in it’s original package, and this is one of the blacked out models! It’s a Mint/Unopened car, the blistercard shows some age……….this is a great find!
