Postwar Japanese Tin Toy Fire Truck

This is a beautiful Japanese Postwar Tin Toy Fire Truck. These toys were produced by a large number of Japanese mfgs. after WWII. Some of them are just tin shells, the nicer quality ones had friction motors. Many had wonderful late 40’s early 50’s paint prints. Most had no markings other than “Japan” somewhere on the vehicle. These have become quite scarce as time goes on, as the early ones are now over 60 years old and closing in on 70 years old! This is approx 1:50 Scale.

This beautiful Fire Truck has a swiveling searchlight, and a friction motor! It is in wonderful condition given its 60+ year old age. It does show some playwear, and a little surface rust in the corner. If you collect either Fire Trucks, Tin Toys, or postwar trucks this is a wonderful find for your collection that very few of your fellow collectors will own! I
