TootsieToy: 1953 Chrylser New Yorker

We have recently acquired a significant collection of TootsieToys with some of their most important pieces, from the estate of a prominent collector who kept these in remarkable condition. One of the great surprises in this collection was this  6" 1953 Chrysler New Yorker. This is a rare casting that was only offered for a 2 year period, 53-54. They are quite hard to find today.This has some very minor playwear, but still retains 99% of it's original paint. It is still in beautiful condition having been released 56 years ago in 1953! More importantly, all the delicate vent window posts are intact and dead straight! This is one of those rare TootsieToys that you normally only see in a book, it is not often they become available for sale on the collector market.   If you collect Chrysler, or TootsieToy's this is a great opportunity to add a rare piece to your collection.
