Wyandotte - Postwar Delivery Truck

This is a rare find. Few people realize that Wynadotte made a series of plastic vehicles, in the immediate post WWII years. Metal was still restricted, and expensive so Wyandotte took some of their pre-war designs, and produce them in plastic.

This is one of those designs, the Wyandotte Delivery Truck. Note this one did have sliding doors, but they are long gone. They can be found online. The fact that this still exists in this good a condition after 70+ years is amazing. It is a great restoration candidate, or it would look amazing on Lionel Train layout.
