Released over a decade ago in 1998, this is a unique part of Matchbox history. Matchbox was always known for having 75 models in their annual lineup, hence the name 1-75 Series.
This truck was issued as a promo for the Hershey, PA Toy Show,, it was then released as a traditional promo only available through hobby shops. It was issued as #76. It was the first ever Matchbox with a catalog number higher than 75.
They were fast sellouts when they first came out due to the #76 and the significance of this truck. If you collect Ford Trucks, Model A’s, Promos or Matchbox this is a great piece for your collection. (1:64 Scale)
