This is a beautiful GM Concept Car , the Aerovette from the Johnny Lightning Classic Customs Corvette series, release 2. It was released 20 years ago in 1996.  It first appeared in teh New York Auto Show in 1972, having been commisioned inside GM by John DeLorean. This mid engine, gullwing Corvette was slated for production in 1980, but the car died along with DeLoreans career and never made it into production. It would have been the first production mid engine Corvette.

This was originally part of a two vette set. It is a great cross-collectible so if you collect Johnny Lightning, Chevrolet, Concept vehicles, or Corvette’s this will be a wonderful addition to your collection. (1:64 Scale)
