This is the rare Post War 1947 Box Truck from TootsieToy. This is from the TootsieToy 3” series. It was released in 1947, and was only produced from 1947-1948. This is a very short run for a Tootsietoy casting, when you combine that with the popularity of any toy after WWII with the kids who didn’t have any new toys for 4 years, these have become very hard to find in presentable condition.

This has some playwear, but it is in very presentable condition and it rolls nicely. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Ford this 75+ year old Box Tuck is a wonderful find for your collection! This has been priced to reflect the condition; you simply will not find a nicer example for this price, particularly in this color, if you could find one at all!
