Matchbox Junkyard Regular Wheels - Mobile Refreshment Canteen (1959)

Released 51 years ago in 1966, this is the beautiful Mobile Refreshment Canteen (MB 74-A-5) from Matchbox.  This earned a parking spot in our Matchbox Junkyard because the awning is missing and the trailer hitch is broken. However, this is still in relatively nice condition other than the aforementioned issues. Therefore it has been priced to go to either a customizer or to someone with a train layout or diorama. If this was Mint/boxed it would be priced well over $100, so this is a great chance to fill in your collection with an inexpensive version until you can a Mint/boxed one. It is a great cross-collectible so if you collect Matchbox, or Canteens this is a great find. You will not find a better example at this price.
