Tootsietoy (237) Pre-War Insurance Patrol Fire Truck -1940

This is a great find. This is the 1940 Pre-War Insurance Patrol Fird Truck from TootsieToy with the white wheels. This is from the TootsieToy 3”  series. This was produced from 1940-1941, and then production stopped for WWII. After the war, they were later produced from 47-48 with black wheels. These are hard to find, particularly with the driver, water cannon and searchlight intact.

This one has some playwear, yet it retains approx 85% of its original paint and it rolls nicely. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Fire Trucks this 70+ year old truck is a wonderful find for your collection! This has been priced to reflect the playwear; you simply will not find a better unrestored example for this price, if you could find one at all!
