This is the 1949 Mercury Custom 4-Door. This is from the Tootsietoy 4” series. This was produced from 1950-1952. This is the red version, the majority was blue.

This one has minimal edgewear, it retains approx 99+% of its original paint and it rolls nicely. It still has the factory overspray around the bumpers which almost all these Mercury’s had. This is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Mercury, this 60 year old Merc is a wonderful find for your collection! This has been priced to reflect the small bit of edgewear; you simply will not find a better unrestored example for this price, if you could find one at all!
