Matchbox - Kyle Wieder Contest Winner NASCAR Ford Thunderbird

This is a great find. This is the car that was produced as the result of a Matchbox mail-in contest. The winner got his name on a production model car, and with that became part of Matchbox history.

The winner was a kid named Kyle Wieder, and his Wieder Racing Thunderbird will forever be a unique model when building a Matchbox collection………….what a lucky guy!

This was released more than a decade ago in the 1996. It has been at least 10 years since we’ve had this version in stock, in an original box! This was the USA only version. There is a ROW (Rest of World) version with yellow lettered tires. We are pleased to have a couple more to offer. This is a great cross collectible, so if you collect NASCAR, Ford, Thunderbirds, or Matchbox this is a great find for your collection. (1:64 Scale)
