Hot Wheels 51st Anniversary - 1970 Plymouth Superbird

This is the Hot Wheels 51st Anniversary Datsun Bluebird 510 Station Wagon. We have no idea what possessed Mattel to do a 51st Anniversary, we thought it was a joke at first. However, it is not a joke as you can see by the 51 on these cars/trucks. Does this mean they are going to do an annual "anniversary" set......we sure hope not!!!

Collectors Note: The set is also known as the Satin & Chrome set, which would have been a better choice than a 51st Anniversary scheme. The cars a beautiful; there are 6 vehicles in the set and one very hard to find Gold Chase vehicle. This is the 70 Superbird! If you collect MOPAR Wing Cars, Muscle Cars or Hot Wheels this is a very cool addition for your collection (1:64 Scale)
