Auburn Rubber Open Back Truck (1959)

This is the beautiful 5” version of the of a late 40’s Open Back Delivery Truck. We don’t know what marque it was meant to be, but it is the style of the old Ford F9’s. Global Diecast Direct normally only carries diecast metal vehicles, but the Auburn Rubber vehicles were such a big part of the Vintage Vehicles collectors scene, that we have decided to carry them after many customer requests to expand to these classic 30’s, 40’s 50’s toys. Produced in 1959, this one has some playwear, and needs a good overall cleaning, but it is a difficult piece to find in any condition. What is very unique about this truck is that it still has 90% of the silver paint on the hood/roof. Most of the paint on these vehicles wore off decades ago. This really just needs a good thorough cleaning. It rolls nicely. If you collect either Auburn Rubber, or 50’s Trucks, this is an incredible find for your collection. We have priced this well below the book value of a Mint version, you simple will not find a nicer one of these 50+ year old trucks at this price!
