Banner - Dump Truck with operating bed and tailgate

We have recently acquired a prominent collection of Vintage Plastic vehicles that contains some of the rarest and most desirable plastic toy vehicles from the 30’s thru early 50’s. We are very pleased to make this collection available to our customers.

This is the Dump Truck with the bed lift and opening tailgate from Banner. This is a rare truck that was released 60+ years ago in 1950. Like many of the postwar plastics mfg’s. when they ran out of material they used what was left. So it’s not uncommon to see a different color tailgate on these trucks. There is no way to know if that was done at the factory, or by a collector. However, since this truck has no visible playwear, this is likely the original tailgate from the factory. This is 6” long.
