Hot Wheels - 1976 Greenwood Bodied Corvette

This is car is so cool…….. if you know the history. In the mid 70’s the US Government had so many restrictions on pollution and fuel economy that performance cars were dying.

However, IMSA and Trans Am Racing Champion John Greenwood would not let that happen to the Corvette. He started build both Race and Street versions of the vette, with bodywork and performance upgrades. The Greenwood vettes were very nice, very expensive, and are coveted today.

This is the only 1:64 Diecast version of a Greenwood Corvette we’ve ever seen, to the best of our knowledge only HW made them and it’s only this casting which was released in 2012. This is a 2014 addition. This is a wonderful, nicely detailed addition for any Chevy, Greenwood Corvette, Road Racing, or Hot Wheels Collection. (1:64 Scale)
