This is the legendary 1938 Auto Union Type D Race Car. Many of the original cars were lost in WWII, the few remaining are worth tens of millions of dollars.

It is a stunningly detailed car from one of Italy’s premier diecast mfg’s, Brumm. This is (V4212) in the Brumm catalog, it was driven in the Angleterre Grand Prix by Tazio Nuvolari.
