This is the legendary 1937 Auto Union (Audi) Type C "Streamline" Race Car. Many of the original cars were lost in WWII, the few remaining are worth tens of millions of dollars. This is the car driven by Luigi Fagioli at Avusrennen. Fagioli had won Ausrennen for Auto Union in 1935. Audi later named it's supercar the "Avus". We also have a few examples of the Matchbox Audi Avus in our inventory.
Collectors Note: Auto Union is the company that became Audi.
It is a stunningly detailed car from one of Italy’s premier diecast mfg’s, Brumm. The car is mint. . If you collect Auto Union/Audi, Race Cars, or Brumm this is a wonderful addition to your collection. (1:43 Scale)
