Arguably the most sought after of the original Cop Rods series, this is a beautiful Springfield Il Custom 49 Mercury, based on the HW Purple Passion casting, from the Hot Wheels Cop Rod Series. This original Cop Rod series was sold over a decade ago in 1999 through the now defunct KB Toy Chain . The series was resurrected in 2009, and was sold exclusively via Target Retail stores.
It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect Hot Wheels, Police Cars, Mercury, Customs, Lead Sleds or Sprinfield Police this will be a wonderful addition to your collection. (1:64 Scale)
