Corgi (490-A-1) Volkswagen Breakdown Van

This is the beautiful Volkswagen Breakdown Van from Corgi (490-A-1). Released 45+ years ago in 1966, this is the very first variation with the tan body, no labels. It has some minor edgewear, yet retains 99% of its original paint. More importantly it still has both the trailer hitch and the tow hook! As you can see from the photos the entire tool box is in place with the functioning cover.

If you’re an avid Corgi or VW collector you know that the price of a mint/boxed piece is now well over $100. We have priced this at a fraction of that cost. You will not find a nicer example at this price.
