Corgi (240A-1) Ghia Fiat 800 Jolly

This is the beautiful Ghia Fiat 600 Jolly from Corgi (240A-1). This casting was released over 45+ years ago, and this is an unrestored original; which is a great find! This one has playwear, and is missing the canopy. However it has both people, and rolls nicely. It is really in need of a good cleaning/detailing. This is a great model for a train layout or diorama, especially if it has a beach scene. However despite its worn paint, we would not recommend restoring this car. The reason is that they were only produced from 1963-1965, and a 2 year run is a short run for Corgi. If you are a Corgi collector you know the Mint/Boxed version of this is now valued at $150+. We have priced it at less than a quarter of the book value of a Mint/Boxed model to reflect the edgewear and missing canopy. If you collect Ghia, Fiat, or Corgi this is an opportunity to add this beautiful piece to your collection. You simply will not find a nicer example for this price! (1:43 Scale)
