This is the (497-A-2) Oldsmobile 88 Police Car, from “The Man from U.N.C.L.E. TV Show. This car was released 45+ years ago in 1966!
Collectors Note: This is the first of the blue version, which is version #2. It is identified by the unplated spotlights. The U.N.C.L.E. hood decal is long gone, but the spoltlights, driver & passenger, and roof piece are all intact. It has some edgewear, but is still a very displayable piece.
We have priced it far below the $280+ book value for a mint piece to reflect the edgewear and decal. You simply will not find a nicer example at this price. If you collect Oldsmobile, UNCLE, Police Cars, or Corgi this is a great find for your collection! (1:43 Scale)
