Corgi (511A-1) Chevrolet Circus Performing Poodles Truck

This is the beautiful Chevrolet Circus Performing Poodles Truck from Corgi. This casting was released over 40 years ago, and this is an unrestored original; which is a great find!  This is one of the rarest Corgi vehicles; if you collect Corgi you know that the book value of a Mint/Boxed version of this truck is now $500+.

This one has some edgewear but retains 95+% of its original paint/finish!  It also retains the side Chipperfields Performing Poodles decals. The suspension works great too.  YOu can also see in picture #3 that the sliding side doors and tailgate funtion well. It is missing the poodle figures & their trainer figure, along with the dog decal on the front. (Note: There are restored versions out there that are repaints of the 486 Kennel Truck, don’t be fooled by them).

However the true value of this truck is that it is an unrestored original, and due to its rarity it should never be restored. Picking up reproductions of the figures/dog rings won’t hurt its value, but it should never be restored.  If you collect Chevy Trucks, or Corgi this is an opportunity to add this beautiful piece to your collection. We have decided to price this at less than half the current book value of a Mint/Boxed version. You simply will not find a nicer example for this price!
