Corgi Junkyard - Oldsmobile Super 88 Sheriff Patrol Car

This is the Oldsmobile Super 88 Sheriff Patrol Car (237A-1). This casting was released by Corgi in 1962. This one looks like it’s been on duty all 45+ years of it’s life. This is intact, but the paint loss and playwear are enough to earn it parking spot in our Junkyard. Consequently we have priced it at a fraction of the $110+ value of a Mint/Boxed version. This is a hard to find Corgi piece, and should not normally be restored. However the paint on this is so far gone that we think this one is a perfect candidate for either a restorer or customizer. It is also has a great patina for a train layout. If you collect Oldsmobile, Police Cars, or Corgi, this is an opportunity to add this beautiful 45+ year old piece to your collection. Paint aside, you simply will not find a better intact example this version of this car at this low of a price.
