Corgi (280-A-1) Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

This is the Corgi Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (280-A-1) that was released 40+ years ago in 1970. This is the first variation of this casting, which can be identified by the hold in the trunk for a spare tire. This was removed from later models.  This car is in full working order, and as you can see from the pics, all doors, hood, and trunk work fine. The bucket seats also tilt forward as shown. This does have playwear, so we have priced it well below the 50+ that a Mint/Boxed version would cost you………if you could even find one. This is a great car for either restoration, or for a train layout/diorama. If you collect Corgi, or Rolls Royce you simply will not find a better example for this price!
