This is a wonderful find. It’s the No. 104 Town and Country Sedan from Irwin Corp. This was not only one of their first post-war models, but it was also one of the first with a wind up friction motor! This is the rare Red version, most were dark blue.
The only thing missing is the roof rack and box. If you’re an avid collector of Irwin, you know the Mint/Boxed price of the blue color car is $350-$400. These red models do not come up often, but since we are missing the rack/box we have priced this at a very fair price. When is the last time you saw the Red Town and Country? This is approx. 1:18 scale, it is almost 12” in length.
