Johnny Lightning 1967 Plymouth GTX Factory Prototype

This is a very unique car. It is a Johnny Lightning factory prototype for the 67 GTX that was eventually released as a JL Club Membership award car. We have added pictures to show you how we received these cars, they were purchased from the collection of a former JL employee.

The pictures show the orginal set of cars, this is the last one we have. They also show the factory note on the back. These failed as prototypes because the roof was loose, and came off to make a convertible. They were supposed to be hardtops. On this last one, the roof is stable but it is obvious that it could easily come off, and that it's a prototype. If you collect Johnny Lightning or MOPAR this is an addition to your collection, that you fellow collectors just won't have in their collection! Even the eventual club model that was based on this prototype is very had to find, so this one is a great find! (1:64 Scale)
