Kidco Tough Wheels - 1957 Chevy Belair Convertible

Kidco is an enigma in the 1:64 Scale diecast world. At first appearance their castings do not appear to be the same quality of a Matchbox, or Johnny Lightning. However, a lot of thought and effort were put into these castings with many of them have opening doors/trucks/hoods, as well as some intricate details that those companies did not bother with ex: the window netting on the Hemi Daytona. Additionally, many of them feature metallic paint.

They also had a very well thought out selection of Muscle Cars and Hot Rods, and since these are now over 30 years old they are becoming scarce and difficult to obtain in nice condition. If you can find them in good condition, they are an interesting addition to any collection. This was released 30+ years ago!
