This is a beautiful Fire Truck from the Lansing Slik Toy Company. This 40+ year old Fire Truck is in wonderful condition. This is a one piece cast aluminum body, as were almost all of the Slk Toys. They only made a handful of models that were not farm implements/vehicles, and this is #9700 wihc is the 3 1/2 inch Fire Truck. This does have a handwritten "FD" on the body, but we decied to leave it on there because it was most likely added by a child 4 decades ago, and just adds to this trucks charm. If you collect Fire Trucks or Slik Toys, this is a great addition for your collection
