Playart - Rare Mercury Commuter Fire Chief Car

This is a great find. This is the Mercury Commuter Fire Chief from Playart. Released 20+ years ago, these are very difficult to find on today’s collector market in any condition. If you’re an avid collector of Playart, you know that the mint/carded price of this car is now $50+. This one has minimal playwear yet retains 99+% of its original paint. We have priced it to reflect the playwear. You will not find a nicer example at this price, if you can find one at all!

Collectors Note: This is a copy of the Matchbox Mercury, including the graphics/livery. Playart did this with a number of castings, but this one was pretty blatant. That is part of the reason this is such a favorite with collectors.
