This is an interesting piece of NASCAR / IROC history. This is a Promotional model for the 1990 IROC series.
IROC contracted with Design Techology to deliver 1"24 Scale promotional models of the IROC Dodge Daytona. Design Technology then turned to Revell, a premier builder of Automobile Dealer Promo's, to build/package the cars.
The cars are highly detailed, hard plastic, featuring rollbars, netting, etc. They were only sold via the IROC website 20+ years ago, for one year. There were several different colors available, with the blue car being the most sought after.
