MB’s Skybuster series of Airplanes, SpaceCraft, and Helicopters is one of the longest running Matchbox series, with the early models first introduced 40+ years ago in 1973. They are typically 3-5” in length, and depending on the plane can be from 1:100, with some of the larger Military and 747’s being closer to 1:500 scale.

This Hypersonic Jet was one of the first variations of this casting, released 5+years ago back in 2007. It is very colorful, and has minimal edgewear. It is a beautiful plane, and a great find. If you collect Skybusters, Aircraft or Matchbox, this is a nice addition for your collection.
