C.A.W. Novelty Company - Midget Coupe Racer

This is a great find! It's the Midget Coupe Racer (CWV12A) from The C.A.W. Novelty Company!  It was produced 80+ years ago in 1930. It is a slush mold lead body, and this particular casting is known for the quality of it's detail, for a small slush mold model.

It has a split windshield center post, and both a radiator cap and headlights in the casting, yet is it only 2 1/16"long. It is the first such casting to have that level of detail, in that size. (approx 1:70 Scale). Bigger than HO Scale, slightly smaller than a hot wheels car!

This one is completely intact, but does have paint wear. We've priced considerably below the current $50+ book value of  a mint piece. If you collect vintage diecast, Slush mold vehicles, or Race cars tthis is a wonderful addition for your collection!
