Johnny Lightning ThunderJet 500 - Ford Thunderbird NASCAR Stock Car

This is the beautiful Ford Thunderbird NASCAR Stock Car from the Johnny Lightning Thunder Jet 500 Series. These are resin plastic slot car bodies that are on pull-back friction motor chassis. They are fast, but the real value is that these bodies can be interchanged with other slot car chassis. Johnny Lightning followed these series with real slot cars featuring traditional electric motors, with some of these same bodies.

Collectors Note: there are hard to find today, in original unopened packages so you will need to decide if you leave them in the packages, or open them up and let them go!
