Post WWII Japanese Tin Toy Race Car - 35

This is a beautiful Japanese Postwar Tin Toy Race Car #35. These toys were produced by a large number of Japanese mfgs. after WWII. Some of them are just tin shells; the nicer quality ones had friction motors. Many had wonderful late 40’s early 50’s paint prints. Most had no markings other than “Japan” somewhere on the vehicle. These have become quite scarce as time goes on, as the early ones are now over 60 years old and closing in on 70 years old!

This beautiful Open Wheel Racer is in wonderful condition given its 60+ year old age. It does show some of its age on the paint and tires, but is still in remarkable condition, and the friction motor works fine. If you collect either Tin Toys, Open Wheels Racers or postwar cars this is a wonderful find for your collection that very few of your fellow collectors will own!
