10+ years ago Tonka introduce a series of 1:64 Scale vehicles in an attempt to compete with Matchbox Hot Wheels and the other 1:64 leaders. This series was mfg under licenses by Maisto. It did not last long, but the vehicles are all well done castings that are shared by Maisto, with a nice selection of models. Consequently they have become sought after by collectors of 1:64 Vehicles. This is the wild VW Baja Bug, in the nicest color they ever produced this car! If you collect Volkswagen, Baja Bugs, 4x4’s, or Tonka than this is a great find for your collection! (1:64 Scale)
