Released over 25 years ago, this is a beautiful Mercedes Benz GTC from the Matchbox Gold Challenge Series. These were Chase Cars that were mixed in with the regular models. They made a Gold Challenge Vehicle for each of the 75 castings in the 1997 Matchbox lineup.
They are limited editions, and came with the traditional Matchbox. Additionally, the GTO Judge & Ford Flareside castings were done as two additional Gold Challenge vehicles, and sold in random 10 packs. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect Matchbox or Mercedes this will be a wonderful addition to your collection. (1:64 Scale)
