Matchbox Gold Challenge Chevrolet Corvette Stingray III Concept Car

Released 25+ years ago in 1997, this is a beautiful Chevrolet Corvette Stingray III Concept Carfrom the Matchbox Gold Challenge Series.

These were Chase Cars that were mixed in with the regular models. They made a Gold Challenge Vehicle for each of the 75 castings in the 1997 Matchbox lineup.

Collectors Note: The Stingray III is the concept Vette that heavily influenced the what became the C5 generation of the Corvette. 

They are limited editions, and came with the traditional Matchbox. Additionally, the GTO Judge & Ford Flareside castings were done as two additional Gold Challenge vehicles, and sold in random 10 packs. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect Matchbox or Corvettes this will be a wonderful addition to your collection. (1:64 Scale)
