Lledo Promo Model 1935 Ford Articulated Truck - ShowGard Mounts

Vidiforms is a NY based company that makes Showgard Mounts for stamp collectors. Beginning in 1985, they commissioned to series of Lledo Promotional Models to promote their Stamp Mount products. 

Series 1 consisted of 14 models, and was produced from 1985-1999. The first 4 models were produced in a quantity of 2500; #’s 5-13 were produced in a quantity of 3500, and #14 in a quantity of 2850. These models were made by Lledo in England

Series 2 consists of 7 models so far, and they began in 2000. Each of them was produced in a quantity of 2000, by Lledo in China.

This is the 1935 Ford Articulated Truck with the Showgard Mounts and it comes in a Lledo Promotional Box. The baseplate states “Lledo Promotional Model. If you collect Lledo, Ford Trucks, or Showgard Promo’s this is a great addition for your collection. This is #2 of the seven Series 2 models.

Collector’s Note: We were only able to obtain one of these, this is it, and it just might be the most beautiful diecast truck we have ever sold! The detail on this casting is amazing, the coloring chosen for the promo is even better!
