This is a beautiful Japanese Postwar Tin Toy Flatbed Truck. These toys were produced by a large number of Japanese mfgs. after WWII. Some of them are just tin shells, the nicer quality ones had friction motors. Many had wonderful late 40’s early 50’s paint prints. Most had no markings other than “Japan” somewhere on the vehicle. These have become scarce as time goes on, as the early ones are now over 60 years old and closing in on 70 years old!

This beautiful Flatbed has a friction motor and is in wonderful condition given its 60+ year old age. If you collect either Tin Toys, or Trucks this is a wonderful find for your collection.
