15+ years ago Tonka introduce a series of 1:64 Scale vehicles in an attempt to compete with Matchbox Hot Wheels and the other 1:64 leaders. This series did not last long, but the vehicles are all well done castings, with a nice selection of models. Consequently they have become sought after by collectors of 1:64 Vehicles.
Collectors Note: The SSR collecting community is tight and competitive, they love to get the unique vehicles. We've been asked about this Tonka SSR for the better part of 20 years, but we've never had one in stock, until now......while it lasts!
