Great news, the Johnny Lightning is back! It has been purchased and put back in the hands of the design and management team at Playing Mantis that revived the brand back in 1994. The result is Round 2, which is the release of new models in new color and packaging!

This is the Surf Rods - 1958 Chevrolet Corvette. It is a beautiful , this would be the way to go surfin'!True to form, JL has the beautiful collector cards back in the package as well. Those cards have become a separate collector market themselves.
