Johnny Lightning R2 - Muscle Cars USA - 1969 American Motors AMX

Great news, the Johnny Lightning is back! It has been purchased and put back in the hands of the design and management team at Playing Mantis that revived the brand back in 1994. The result is Round 2, which is the release of new models in new color and packaging!

This is the 1969 American Motors AMX from the Muscle Cars USA series. It is a beautiful casting in terms of the quality of the detail. True to form, JL has the beautiful collector cards back in the package as well. Those cards have become a separate collector market themselves. It looks stunning in black with both red stripes and redline tires.....very nice touch!
