This is the 1949 Mercury Fire Chief from TootsieToy. It is from the TootsieToy 4” series. This was produced from 1953-1960.

This one has some playwear. It retains approx 95% of its original paint, and it rolls nicely. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, Mercury, or Fire Chief vehicles this 57 year old casting is an interesting find for your collection! You simply will not find a nicer one in this price range, if you could find one at all!
