Tootsietoy (239) 1947 Station Wagon

This is the rare Post War 1947 Station Wagon from TootsieToy. This is from the TootsieToy 3” series. It was released in 1947, and was only produced from 1947-1952. This is a very short run for a Tootsietoy casting. When you consider the popularity of any toy after WWII with the kids who didn’t have any new toys for 4 years, these have become very hard to find in presentable condition.

This has some playwear, yet still retains 70% of it’s original paint and it rolls nicely. It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Station Wagons this 60+ year old car is a wonderful find for your collection! This has been priced at less than half the value of a mint model to reflect the condition; you simply will not find a nicer example for this price, if you could find one at all!
