Tootsietoy - Rare (1932) No. 108 Caterpillar Tractor

This is an truely great, and rare find! Released 80+ years ago in 1932, this is one of Tootsietoy’s rarest construction/farm pieces.  This is No. 108 in the Tootsietoy catalog, the Caterpillar Tractor.    

It is in wonderful condition for its age, with only the tracks missing. There are plenty of reproductions, as the originals have all long disintegrated. It retains approx. 98% of its original paint, and has been priced to reflect the missing tracks. The book value of a Mint piece is now well over $70.  If you collect Tootsietoys you also know that you will not find a nicer example of this rare casting at this price!
