This is a beautiful find from TootsieToy’s 4” series. It is the 1949 Ford F-6 Pickup Truck (Open Wheel). The other version has the closed wheel wells. This was produced by TootsieToys from 1950-1969.

This is does have playwear yet still retains 75% of it’s original paint, and all 4 wheels roll nicely It is priced well below the book value of a Mint version, if you could even find one. It is a very presentable example of this beautifully crafted Ford F6. It might be the only diecast version of this truck, we don’t know of any others.

It is a great cross-collectible, so if you collect TootsieToys, Vintage Diecast, or Ford Trucks this is a great find for your collection!
