This is the Tootsietoy #23 Oil Tanker Truck from the Tootsietoy 3” series. This 50+ year old Ford Truck casting was produced from 1947-1960. This casting came with either 3 or 4 caps on the roof. This is the 4 cap casting! This one has playwear, retains approx 90% of its original paint, and it rolls nicely. We have priced it well below the book value of a Mint piece, to reflect the playwear. If you collect Tootsietoy, Vintage Diecast, or Tank Trucks this is a great find for your collection, you simply will not find a better original example for this price!
