This is the Mack L-Line Stepside Stake Truck from Tootsietoy’s 6” Series. This was produced from 1954-1957! These are commonly found in red, the yellow version is a much more scarce version. It retains 95% of it’s original paint on the cab and sides, but the silver paint in the bed is beginning to fade away. We would not recommend restoring this piece, due to the scarcity of original yellow Stake Trucks. If you collect Mack Trucks, Tootsietoy, or Vintage Diecast this is a special piece for your collection. You will not find a nicer example at this price, as we have priced it well below the book value of a Mint piece.
